HORARY OF THE MONTH !!
This month's featured Horary question is: 'I have been single for a number of years and now would like to know if I am going to meet a partner within the next year????'.

Here is the chart, which was drawn up on 18 November 2004 at 4.21 p.m. GMT in Edinburgh - 55 N 57, 3 W 13.

'Looking at this chart the most prominent thing I see is that it looks like your ex is very much still there on your mind. It also looks like this may be a recent 'return' in some way so I wonder if you have been thinking about him lately.'

The other thing I see is that your planets have a mutual feeling for each other which is very strong.

Also it looks like you may have met someone recently who you are very good friends with, as your planet, Mercury, has recently aspected the planet ruling partners. It looks like you have very strong feelings for him - more than friendship - and he also is very strongly attracted to you.

It looks like there has been a very recent change here, as his planet has moved from being in your 'terms' to being in his own terms, so this may indicate a change in behaviour, less favourable to you and a bit more towards what suits him. This may be very subtle as I think there is still strong friendship and attraction, but underlying there may be a subtle change.

His planet is also inordinately interested in the planet indicating your ex, Saturn, and I am wondering if this is perhaps something that he is facing up to and that this is behind the change in behaviour.

At the same time, it looks like shortly, there may be some indication of you turning more towards your ex, and acting in a way which is more favourable to him - and vice versa. Would any of this be likely? It certainly seems to be the message from the chart.

The other thing is that it's a mutual thing with your ex as he is inordinately interested in this othere guy's planet, so all in all it looks like a mighty busy and confusing time for you. It looks like each guy is more pre-occupied by the other guy and perhaps feeling overawed.

It looks like you are fairly on top of things on a rational practical level in your life, but emotionally you may be a bit of a lost soul and still very much governed by your ex on an emotional level. I think you should see a small degree of emotional direction coming into your life very very soon.

Looking at the planet Venus in this chart, I think you may also be feeling a bit like you're "all dressed up and nowhere to go" too. Looking at the chart you have a whole lot going for you as a woman, but no opportunity to go with it! Hope that makes sense. I think there will be some contact between you and your ex. This may not be all plain sailing as it is shown by a difficult aspect about to form and also, you may be seeing him in a very idealistic light and although he feels very strongly for you, I am not sure he can give you what you need on the romantic front.

The next aspect by the moon is going to be to this planet Venus, so it would seem that whilst you have the choice to be in a partnership, you choose not to make the compromise and stick to what the 'Venus' side of your nature wants. This is romance and to 'feel like a woman'.

So, to be honest, it seems like a busy chart with lots happening, but not really what you want. Also looking at what is called the 'shadow' position of the Part of Marriage, this is on the ascendant, really showing that the matter is in your hands and that you can have a partnership if you want. But perhaps the kind of relationship you want is a different matter. It looks like your ex cannot give you that, and there is a recent mutual very slight change of heart between you and the recent friend.

That's really all that's in the chart - no new dark handsome knights in shining armour about to leap over your garden fence I'm afraid.
